Agro-robotic ecosystems:

A new agricultural approach emerged out of the permaculture ideology. In the newly developed agro-robotic ecosystem, animals and plants live in harmony with agro-robots.

Spittlebug robot:

This very small robot is designed to help protect crops against destructive pests.

Protection strategy:

It detects the chemicals that are released when plants are attacked by parasites. They reduce the numbers of parasitic animals in a sustainable way. They produce a biodegradable foam that kills the parasite, but does not harm the plant.

Seed robot:

The small seed-robot grows seeds internally in its body and plants the seeds in the fertile soil.

Harvest drone:

The harvest drones are programmed to pick up and transport the harvested food.
